Job Requirements

  • Completion of Food Handler's Card required within 30 days of employment
  • 2 years of line cook experience preferred

  • Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and company procedures accurately
  • Prior line cook experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Assist the Sous Chef and butcher in cutting meat following specifications and quality standards
  • Communicate frequently with the Sous Chef to report problems or discrepancies within the kitchen including equipment, sanitation, food supply, inventory, and food quality
  • Assist the side cook and other kitchen personnel in food preparation as assigned
  • Prepare all food products according to company standards and procedures
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to company specifications, recipes, and quality standards
  • Ensure timely preparation and presentation of all dishes to enhance guest dining experience
  • Maintain organized, clean, and efficient operation of the broil station and kitchen line
  • Check inventory levels of meats, seafood, condiments, and smallware and report discrepancies
  • Correctly cook and season eggs and other dishes
  • Maintain broiler temperature and cleanliness
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure readiness for service
  • Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions
  • Return unused meat products to storage at the end of shifts
  • Support other kitchen personnel to provide seamless guest experience
  • Complete station closing duties and assist in kitchen cleanliness at the end of shifts
