Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen setting is a plus
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation standards
  • Good communication skills to interact with team and supervisors
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to participate in cross-training
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Work as directed on station of assignment under supervision
  • Set up station properly and on time for service periods
  • Prepare food by recipes designated by supervisor
  • Ensure food quality and quantity is correct
  • Deliver food to correct areas on time
  • Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints
  • Work in different areas as needed and participate in cross-training
  • Assist in same day and advance prep for other stations
  • Attend kitchen meetings on or off duty
  • Follow clean as you go policy
  • Keep work area clean
  • Check out with supervisor before leaving kitchen
  • Cover, date, label, and initial food items for storage
  • Rotate foods using first in, first out method
  • Clean oven tops, work areas, and reach-in boxes after service
  • Perform duties including stooping, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Follow production charts and cleaning charts
  • Report sickness to supervisor
  • Enforce safe work conditions and kitchen regulations
  • Punch in and out on time cards
  • Overtime approved based on business demand
  • Perform other duties needed to support vision and mission
