Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of English and local language
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and coworkers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools

Job Duties

  • Work as directed on assigned kitchen station under supervision
  • Set up station properly and on time for each service period
  • Prepare all food according to recipes designated by supervisor
  • Ensure food quality and quantity is correct
  • Deliver food to correct area on time
  • Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints
  • Work in another area when needed and participate in cross-training
  • Assist in same day prep and advance prep for another station as instructed
  • Attend all kitchen meetings on or off duty
  • Follow clean as you go policy and maintain clean work area
  • Check out with supervisor before leaving kitchen
  • Cover, date, label and initial all stored food items
  • Rotate food items properly using FIFO method
  • Clean and turn off oven tops, work areas and reach-in boxes after service
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management including stooping, bending and lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Report to supervisor immediately if sick
  • Follow production charts and cleaning charts daily
  • Enforce safe work conditions aiming for zero accidents
  • Follow all kitchen regulations as outlined
  • Punch time cards in and out
  • Work overtime as approved by management
  • Perform any other duties to support organizational vision and mission
