Job Requirements

  • Culinary experience in hospitality or healthcare settings
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • attention to sanitation, organization, and time management
  • reliable and positive attitude
  • must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual

Job Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • one-year related experience and/or training as cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, health care facility or similar institution
  • uses professional communication skills
  • ability to collaborate with culinary team members
  • organization and time-management skills
  • positive attitude and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with culinary team to prepare dishes utilizing different cooking techniques as per standardized recipes
  • maintains a clean and organized area throughout the shift
  • adheres to sanitation and safety procedures
  • performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor to execute test recipes
  • ensures sanitary handling and preparation of food
  • meets daily meal schedules
  • serves required portions and utilizes leftovers
  • cares for and cleans kitchen equipment
