Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organization

- Good knife skills
- Knowledgeable about a variety of food and cuisines
- Knowledgeable about proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong communication skills
- Prior culinary experience preferred
- Motivated for excellence and maintaining good kitchen atmosphere
Job Duties
- Carry out the production of all dishes according to prescribed recipes and specifications ensuring portion size, quality and presentation conform to standards
- Check and prepare required mise-en-place
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food to minimize spoilage
- Keep the kitchen area clean and hygienic
- Monitor refrigerators and kitchen equipment to ensure they are in working order
- Set up the kitchen pass before each service following Chef’s requirements
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by kitchen management
- Handle complaints and enquiries promptly and effectively
- Recommend and develop solutions to meet guests’ changing needs
