Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Three years working in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team setting
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 30 pounds occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays including extended hours
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Sufficient mobility for physical tasks
  • Practice safe work habits and complete safety training

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Professional training through culinary education or experience in fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility preferred
  • Strong line experience for Ala Carte Service
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work all Prudential Center events including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training preferred
  • Three years experience working in fast-paced high-end club or restaurant

Job Duties

  • Provide quick and efficient service to customers related to fine dining culinary experience
  • Follow Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisors assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • Prepare food items complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained
  • Maintain safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
  • Keep kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • Maintain sanitation for all dining and cooking utensils and cookware
  • Handle and clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely
  • Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
