Job Qualifications

- prior experience in laundry operations preferred
- knowledge of laundry chemicals and their effects on various types of linen
- ability to work independently with limited supervision

- physical capability to lift bundles of linen up to 75 pounds and push or pull carts up to 100 pounds
- ability to prioritize and organize work effectively

Job Duties
- operate washing and drying equipment
- load and unload laundry from machines
- measure and administer cleaning agents according to product specifications
- meet job metrics with limited supervision
- inspect all linen to ensure it is hair and stain free
- monitor feeder information on washers
- ensure all drums are full
- report any irregularities to supervisor
- remove old or torn linen and log discarded items
- fold linens properly and keep them wrinkle free
- set drying and cooling times for different types of linen
- clean machines and surrounding areas
- comply with attendance rules and maintain regular work availability
- stock and organize linens in laundry room
- assist with deliveries to guest floors and housekeeping closet stocking
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
