Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
- Add chemicals and clean lint traps
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine appropriate action
- Inspect cleanliness of laundered articles and sort into clean linen carts
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters, and drain traps
- Fold cleaned articles to designated size by hand or machine
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered
- Follow company safety and security policies and report hazards
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns
- Identify and implement methods to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds and working in various physical conditions
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
