Job Requirements
- Current Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings
- Minimum 1000 hours dual instruction given
- Actual King Air flight experience with 300/350 series and/or 200 series and/or 90 series
- Ability to maintain instructor qualifications and certifications
- High level of professionalism
- Availability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to assess client needs and make decisions aligned with CAE's mission
- On call (fixed term) employment status
Job Qualifications
- Current Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings
- CFI/II/MEI instruction experience
- 1000 hours dual instruction given
- Actual King Air flight experience, including 300/350 series and/or 200 series and/or 90 series
- FAA ATP certificate highly preferred
- FAA medical certificate highly preferred
Job Duties
- Conduct ground and flight simulator training for customers at Simcom by CAE
- Evaluate the customer's progress in gaining skills and knowledge by the standards established at Simcom by CAE
- Maintain competency and qualification authorized to instruct
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Demonstrate competent and confident instructional knowledge in a dynamic learning environment
- Learn new skills that directly affect product value
- Evaluate customer training needs and proficiently coach and instruct
- Employ creative and innovative teaching methods to meet individual customer needs
- Attain applicable ratings and qualifications in an economical and timely manner
- Assess client needs with timely and effective decision making within the context of the Mission and Strategy guidelines of Simcom by CAE
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
