Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and the ability to use them safely
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Legal authorization to work in the location specified (DACM, 1670)
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience working in a consumer support or office environment
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation
- Certification in workplace safety or cleaning procedures
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with facility staff and management
- Flexibility to adjust work hours if needed to accommodate special events or cleaning schedules
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with company policies
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the facility management team promptly
- Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for meetings or events as required
