Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with two years of experience in culinary arts/food technology
  • or associate degree with six years of experience in culinary arts/food technology
  • current ServSafe Manager's Certification or equivalent
  • sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
  • understanding of individuals with disabilities
  • ability to employ varied teaching modalities
  • willingness to support equity and inclusion practices
  • verification of work authorization and required documentation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field
  • associate degree with extensive experience in culinary arts
  • current ServSafe Manager's Certification or equivalent
  • experience in curriculum development and student training

Job Duties

  • Provide curriculum and equipment recommendations
  • develop on-the-job training apprenticeship partnerships
  • train and support students in culinary arts program
  • utilize teaching techniques that accommodate adult learning styles and modalities
  • promote equity-consciousness and culturally responsive teaching
  • engage in equitable practices to close equity gaps
  • support institutional equity initiatives and learning environments
