Job Requirements
- FAA certificated flight instructor II or FAA commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating and advanced ground instructor certificates or extensive aviation industry experience
- ability to develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- experience in student advisement
- willingness to participate in program development and recruitment activities
- ability to teach in-person courses during day or evening hours
- submission of resume/CV, cover letter, unofficial transcripts, and contact information for three professional references
- availability to undergo criminal background check
- eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications
- FAA issued certificated flight II instructor or FAA issued commercial pilot certificate with instrument rating and advanced ground instructor certificate and instrument ground instructor
- aviation industry professionals with extensive experience in aerodynamics, advanced aircraft systems, crew resource management, airport management, airline operations, or cabin service
- bachelor’s degree in aviation management, aerospace science, aeronautical administration, or related field preferred
- knowledge of Canvas or other learning management systems preferred
Job Duties
- Lecture and lab instruction for aviation courses
- develop lesson plans and course materials in conjunction with lead faculty
- evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- provide advisement to students
- engage in program and/or curriculum development when requested
- attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
