Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform inventory
- Working knowledge of laundry equipment, cleaning chemicals and cleaning agents
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift over sixty pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, push, or pull loads
- Ability to reach overhead and kneel
- Adherence to safety precautions when handling chemicals and equipment
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts and overtime as required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Sorts, launders and puts away all clothing and linens per an exchange schedule
- Supplies hygiene and linen supplies on units per supply request form
- Maintains cleanliness of laundry room and equipment including sweeping, mopping and cleaning interior and exterior of washers and dryers
- Maintains hygiene supply inventory, ordering when necessary
- Responsible for keeping MSDS books up to date for all units and laundry room
- Provides light janitorial supplies including mops, brooms and cleaning rags for all units per weekly schedule
- Reports any problems and/or damage to equipment in laundry room to maintenance
- Maintains security of the laundry area
- Performs all other duties as assigned, including overtime as required
