Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a club or hotel environment preferred
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and/or carry items up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, reaching, or twisting
- Ability to move freely in a multi-floor building
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 1+ years' experience, club/hotel environment preferred
- Ability to interact with members and staff professionally and positively
- Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to wear protective equipment such as rubber/latex gloves or waterproof suits
Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to keep RHCC in a clean and orderly manner and to make sure all required health standards are met
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Replenish supplies, such as linens and bathroom items
- restock janitorial supplies
- Keep track and continually update inventory of supplies
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Sweep, scrub, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing machines
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing, as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
