Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a club or hotel environment preferred
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift and/or carry items up to 25 lbs, up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, kneeling, reaching, or twisting
  • Ability to move freely in a multi-floor building
  • Ability to work indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 1+ years' experience, club/hotel environment preferred
  • Ability to interact with members and staff professionally and positively
  • Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Ability to wear protective equipment such as rubber/latex gloves or waterproof suits

Job Duties

  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to keep RHCC in a clean and orderly manner and to make sure all required health standards are met
  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
  • Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Replenish supplies, such as linens and bathroom items
  • restock janitorial supplies
  • Keep track and continually update inventory of supplies
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment
  • Sweep, scrub, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing machines
  • Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing, as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
