Job Duties
- Demonstrates a commitment to the mission of Swedish Covenant Hospital and demonstrates a service orientation and adheres to all responsibilities and standards of the hospital
- Performs daily and terminal cleaning and replenishes supplies in all patient care and ancillary areas including patient rooms, washrooms, exam rooms, lobbies, offices to ensure a safe, sanitary and attractive environment
- Collects, transports, processes and disposes of all types of regular, hazardous and medical waste following established policies and regulatory compliance
- Extracts and spin cleans carpets, washes walls, ceilings, lights, spray buffs, scrubs and refinishes hard and tile floors
- Shampoos upholstered furniture and performs other project cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness standards
- Reports necessary repairs and performs other tasks as assigned according to department demands
