Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Capacity to use cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and respect for residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeper or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- Compassionate and customer-service oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our residents
- Engage in prospective resident visits
- Clean resident apartment including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, making beds, and linen service where applicable
- Provide personal laundry service where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness of entire building
- Monitor public restrooms for cleanliness and adequate supplies
- Maintain regulatory compliance
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Note areas or articles in need of repair and report to Assistant Director
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director
