Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous employment demonstrating knowledge and skills in safe use of cleaning chemicals, hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices
- Ability to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations
- Physical ability to perform essential job functions including lifting and physical labor
- Compliance with safety and risk management policies
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Basic computer literacy
Job Qualifications
- Employment history demonstrating safe use of cleaning chemicals, hand tools, power tools, equipment, and measuring devices
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Rudimentary computer skills to access company software and perform standard repetitive tasks
- Ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, and in a stressful environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Willingness to attend required training and safety meetings
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Cleans all common areas of the community including but not limited to office space, amenities, and common area restrooms
- Inspects the community in person throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and ensure all areas are neat and litter-free
- Removes trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process
- Completes make-ready clean for vacant apartments to ensure they are move-in ready
- Assists Service Director and Community Director with assigned requests and supports make-ready specialist in unit turnover process
- Distributes notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Reports observed hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors
- Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents with respect, answering questions, and responding to complaints
- Attends and participates in safety meetings and complies with safety policies including OSHA regulations
- Meets attendance, punctuality, and physical demands of the position
