Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- No prior experience necessary
- Ability to operate a computer
- Physical ability to stand walk lift carry push and pull weights up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work independently

- Experience in senior housing or housekeeping is a plus
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all common areas including corridors lounges reception areas restrooms storage and supply areas floors offices and chapel
- Clean and maintain resident rooms and units including unit turns
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Wash windows blinds walls ceilings and woodwork as necessary
- Move and arrange furniture
- Replenish bathroom items and wash disinfect bathroom and kitchen fixtures using approved cleaning solutions
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean rugs and carpets using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked clean and tidy
- Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides
- Maintain adequate levels of supplies by reporting inventory to manager or lead
- Follow established policies and procedures including safety and Presbyterian Villages policies
- Perform all other duties as assigned
