Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Passion for caring for the elderly
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday 8 am to 1 pm schedule
- Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information

Job Duties
- Clean, disinfect, and straighten resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, laundry rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuums and/or shampooers
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors using appropriate equipment
- Scour, scrub, and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets, and bathing areas
- Polish silver accessories and metal fixtures
- Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, and equipment
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash properly
- Clean up spills or soiled areas as needed
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry following approved procedures
- Ensure equipment is safe and properly stored
- maintain safe work areas
- Follow procedures for cleaners and hazardous materials
- Attend required in-service and training sessions
- Understand, comply with, and promote Resident Rights
- Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators
- Maintain professional appearance, attitude, and confidentiality of personal or health information
- Perform other duties as assigned
