Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for long periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas in the Space Camp Habitats
- ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and are regularly inspected
- change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are ready for new campers
- replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and towels
- vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
- dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate staff
- follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- maintain cleaning equipment and report any need for repairs or replacements
- assist with laundry services as needed
- interact with campers and staff in a friendly and professional manner
