Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, bend, and stand for long periods
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Standing, walking, and climbing stairs for up to 8 hours daily
- Carrying and lifting supplies weighing up to 40 pounds to waist height
- Bending, kneeling, and reaching to retrieve and store supplies
- Ability to inspect areas visually and physically for cleanliness
- Ability to work with potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service

Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas in the Space Camp Habitats
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and are regularly inspected
- Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are ready for new campers
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any need for repairs or replacements
- Assist with laundry services as needed
- Interact with campers and staff in a friendly and professional manner
