Job Requirements
- Three plus years of experience in guest experience or front-of-house roles in performing arts or theater environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle and reconcile merchandise money
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Self-driven and able to manage time with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Knowledge of safety, security, and crowd control regulations
- Knowledge of ADA and accessibility standards

Job Duties
- Arrive to open the theater and check in with show leaders, box office, security, and production
- Admit ushers and hold usher meetings
- Create show reports for each performance or event
- Enforce theater policies and trouble-shoot patron issues
- Close and secure the theater after events
- Ensure accessible seating requests are set up and review emergency procedures with ushers
- Enter maintenance requests as needed to support facility upkeep
- Reconcile merchandise sales and manage retail inventory
- Serve as secondary House Manager during events
- Compile show information and prepare show sheets for usher staff
- Communicate with the Senior House Manager regarding event concerns and improvements
- Inspect and maintain performance equipment and facility items such as seats, radios, and stanchions
- Supervise usher team during performances
