Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 months experience with cash handling and customer service
- High school level mathematical aptitude
- Knowledge of computerized cash registers
- Ability to handle stressful customer service situations
- Capacity to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Must exhibit professional appearance and conduct
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience of at least 3 months in a role with heavy cash handling and customer service
- Proficient in basic cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems
- Knowledge of customer service principles and restaurant operations
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude
Job Duties
- Greet arriving customers with a cordial welcome
- Escort customers to their assigned tables and issue menus
- Assign seating sections and notify servers of new guests
- Maintain a visible presence in the restaurant to assist customers and support servers
- Process payments accurately using a computerized cash register
- Verify the accuracy of guest checks and charge vouchers
- Collect feedback from customers to improve service and report to management
- Account for checks issued and maintain accurate logs
- Count daily revenues and alert management of discrepancies
- Balance and reconcile reports at the end of shifts
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining restaurant appearance
- Report maintenance and housekeeping issues promptly
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor throughout the shift
