Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy including keyboard facility, data entry, email use, hospital intranet knowledge, multiple telephone line experience and etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills both in person and on the telephone
- Creative problem solving
- Ability to work under direct supervision
- Availability to work part time (21 hours) during day shift
- Bilingual skills desirable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Competence in computer literacy including keyboard facility, data entry, email use, hospital intranet knowledge, multiple telephone line experience and etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills in person and on the telephone

- Clerical, customer service, communications-related experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
Job Duties
- Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through timely greeting and check-in of arriving patients
- Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments
- Demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients, families and visitors
- Perform service functions including triaging and answering calls
- Assist with concerns and use of MyWall
- Work under direct supervision and incorporate NYULH Core Values in all aspects of job performance
