Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- experience with customer service and product knowledge
- supervisory experience is a plus
- ability to operate retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of store safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist multiple customers at self-checkout registers simultaneously
- proactively engage customers with product and service recommendations
- provide excellent customer service by understanding and responding to customer needs
- coach, develop, and provide feedback to front-end associates
- operate cash registers to process sales, returns, and refunds
- inspect and process returned merchandise
- submit customer orders and manage online order placement
- monitor store entrances and exits to prevent theft and ensure security
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and work areas
- operate various store equipment as required
