Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting and modifying information
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology like smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Supervisory experience including training and coaching employees
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and provide product information
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet and engage with customers recommending products and services
- Provide SMART customer service through execution of store policies and programs
- Use cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to front-end team associates
- Inspect returned merchandise and submit customer orders
- Maintain safety and security by monitoring store entrances and exits and responding to security risks
