Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer
- less than 1 year experience using smart phones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds
- ability to stand and move throughout the checkout area
- availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- supervisory experience in any field
- knowledge of retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- strong customer service skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- proactively greet and engage customers
- coach and supervise front-end associates
- operate cash registers and process transactions
- manage store equipment and supplies
- ensure store safety and compliance with policies
- assist customers by providing product information and support
- open additional registers to maintain checkout efficiency
- detect and report security concerns
- maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout and work areas
