Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer
- Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology
- 1 to 2 years retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple registers simultaneously
- Must comply with all safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years retail experience as a cashier
- Experience in customer service and sales techniques
- Ability to operate retail technology including registers and scanners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of store security and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet and engage customers recommending products and services
- Monitor and maintain checkout area cleanliness and safety
- Process sales transactions including returns and refunds accurately
- Supervise, coach, and support front-end team members
- Inspect returned merchandise and manage online orders
- Detect and report security risks and adhere to safety protocols
