Job Requirements
- less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting and accessing information
- less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
- ability to lift items up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
- experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- supervisory experience including coaching and training employees
- basic computer and retail technology skills
- familiarity with retail security practices
Job Duties
- monitors and assists multiple customers at self-checkout registers simultaneously
- proactively greets and engages with customers recommending products and services
- provides SMART customer service by understanding and assisting customer needs
- uses cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds following company policies
- supervises and coaches front end team associates
- inspects returned merchandise for damages and processes customer orders
- monitors store security and potential theft risks
- maintains cleanliness and safety standards in store
- operates various store equipment as needed
