Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
  • Less than 1 year of experience using retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
  • Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift
  • Willingness to provide proactive customer assistance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
  • Experience working in a Lowe's retail store department
  • Supervisory experience including training and coaching employees
  • Ability to detect common signs of shoplifting
  • Familiarity with customer service and retail technology

Job Duties

  • Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
  • Proactively greet and engage customers recommending products and services
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products to complete transactions accurately
  • Provide SMART customer service following company policies and procedures
  • Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using cash registers
  • Supervise, coach, and support CSA Front End Team members
  • Open additional registers and assist with line management to ensure coverage and reduced wait times
