Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
- Less than 1 year of experience using retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift
- Willingness to provide proactive customer assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Experience working in a Lowe's retail store department
- Supervisory experience including training and coaching employees
- Ability to detect common signs of shoplifting
- Familiarity with customer service and retail technology
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet and engage customers recommending products and services
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move products to complete transactions accurately
- Provide SMART customer service following company policies and procedures
- Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using cash registers
- Supervise, coach, and support CSA Front End Team members
- Open additional registers and assist with line management to ensure coverage and reduced wait times
