Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
- Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology like smart phones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must comply with safety and store policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Experience in customer service and product knowledge
- Ability to coach and train associates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and retail technology proficiency
- Supervisory experience in retail or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrates ability to monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet, assist, and engage with customers
- Use cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
- Provides supervision, coaching, and support to front-end team members
- Inspect returned merchandise for damages and prepare register areas
- Monitor store entrances, exits, and merchandise for security risks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store environment
