Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Less than 1 year of experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
  • 1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and move products during shift
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of retail cashier experience
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
  • Experience with supervising and coaching employees
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and sales techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic proficiency with retail technology such as cash registers, smartphones, and tablets

Job Duties

  • Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
  • Proactively greet, assist, and engage with customers
  • Provide SMART customer service through execution of company policies
  • Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
  • Use cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and support to Front End associates
  • Inspect returned merchandise for damages and process orders
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety compliance
  • Detect and communicate security risks
  • Operate store equipment as needed
