Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience using a computer including inputting and accessing information
- Less than 1 year experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- One to two years retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the checkout area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to two years of retail experience as a cashier
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Supervisory experience including training and coaching employees
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of retail technology such as registers and tablets
- Ability to recognize and report security risks
Job Duties
- Monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers at self-checkout stations
- Recommend products and services to customers appropriately
- Use cash registers to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to Front-End associates
- Inspect returned merchandise for damages and prepare register area at shift start and end
- Maintain safe and clean store environment adhering to safety policies and procedures
