Job Requirements

  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting and accessing information
  • Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
  • Supervisory experience including coaching and training employees
  • Familiarity with retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
  • Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds
  • Experience working in a Lowe's retail store preferred
  • Knowledge of security and shoplifting prevention

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates ability to monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
  • Approaches and interacts with customers to recommend products and services
  • Greets and engages multiple customers proactively
  • Assists customers with transactions including sales, returns, and refunds
  • Coaches and supports Front End Team members
  • Prepares and maintains register area before and after shifts
  • Monitors security risks and complies with safety standards
