Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting and accessing information
- Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Supervisory experience including coaching and training employees
- Familiarity with retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
- Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds
- Experience working in a Lowe's retail store preferred
- Knowledge of security and shoplifting prevention
Job Duties
- Demonstrates ability to monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Approaches and interacts with customers to recommend products and services
- Greets and engages multiple customers proactively
- Assists customers with transactions including sales, returns, and refunds
- Coaches and supports Front End Team members
- Prepares and maintains register area before and after shifts
- Monitors security risks and complies with safety standards
