Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of proven responsible experience in grounds maintenance, construction, or a similar area or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
- Pre-employment post-offer physical evaluation required
- Use of company vehicle for business travel with successful MVR and insurance eligibility
- Knowledge of proper operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively
- Lift and/or manipulate objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and 50-100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to safely use tools and equipment associated with repair and maintenance of grounds and buildings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of responsible experience in grounds maintenance, construction, or related area
- Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods
- Preferred experience in grounds care, greenhouse, plant nursery, farming, or landscaping
Job Duties
- Mow turf, roadway medians, and buffer zones with hand and riding mowers
- Prepare and install sod and sew seed for landscape purposes
- Monitor turf health and repair eroded areas
- Perform landscape maintenance including weed removal and plant care
- Operate and maintain small grounds and landscape equipment
- Assist with building maintenance and outdoor structure upkeep
- Support event setup and teardown activities
