Job Requirements

  • 6 months of experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
  • powered equipment certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck (required or must be obtained)

  • powered equipment certification for counterbalance forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck (required or must be obtained)
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • 6 months of retail experience preferred
  • 6 months of experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department preferred
  • 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles preferred

Job Duties

  • Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time
  • keep staging areas clean, organized, and safe
  • deliver excellent service by choosing high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates
  • operate and maintain certification for powered equipment such as forklift, order picker, and narrow aisle reach truck
  • follow all safety requirements
  • support inventory accuracy using the Orders App and maintaining SIMS compliance
  • partner with leadership to resolve short picks
  • complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management
  • report safety or theft concerns promptly
  • achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills
  • perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
