Job Requirements
- must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must have proof of the right to work and evidence relating to associated local legislative requirements (EMEA only)
- must have the ability to travel to assigned store with own transportation methods
- willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willing to work in an environment with bright lights and loud music
- willing to move through the store for most of the shift to help guests and accomplish work
- willing to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
- willing to work as part of a team and complete some work independently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- experience in customer service or food and beverage services is beneficial
- knowledge of coffee and smoothie preparation is an asset
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to create personalized guest experiences
- ability to work well in a team and independently
- enthusiasm for the work and a commitment to guest experience and collaboration
Job Duties
- serve all products with friendly and enthusiastic individualized attention towards each guest
- educate guests about premium coffees, teas, and smoothies
- prepare customized orders including espresso, cappuccino, latte, decaf espresso, and smoothies
- set up and break down the coffee station
- maintain and clean the coffee station
- perform daily shift side work, opening duties, and closing duties as assigned by the Fuel Manager
- attend monthly team meetings
- follow café operational policies including cash handling and safety and security
- maintain inventory
- build strong relationships with guests creating an inclusive and welcoming environment
