Job Requirements
- must be available to work 10-15 hours a week
- must be available to work various weekend shifts between 9am and 6:30pm
- must be able to work additional hours during the holiday season as needed
- can understand written and oral directions and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities
- understands basic units of measurement used within the U.S.
- has the ability to perform repetitive tasks that require precise and continuous movement of the arms, wrists, hands, and fingers
- has the ability to lift moderate to heavy items (up to 50lbs)
- has the ability to stand for long periods of time
- able to work on a fast-paced production schedule
- possesses an attention to detail and the ability to adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
- diligent, organized, self-motivated, big picture thinker
- able to prioritize the workload and operate independently with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- applicant must be 16 years of age or older
- no experience necessary, we will train on site
- previous experience in a retail, bakery or restaurant setting is a plus
- must obtain a food handler's permit once hired
Job Duties
- follow the Nothing Bundt Cakes frosting recipe and application methods with precision to achieve productivity goals
- utilize bakery equipment to frost cakes accurately and efficiently
- ensure an adequate supply of frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case
- maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels
- adhere to the proper product rotation standards, helping maintain frosting and refrigeration logs
- monitor inventory of frosting supplies
- evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met
- clean, sanitize, and restock the frosting work station
- comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures
- maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record
