Job Requirements

  • prior experience in healthcare or customer service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite

  • outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • prior healthcare experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical insurance preferred
  • prior front desk or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to calculate simple figures

  • socially perceptive and able to relate to children and families

Job Duties

  • Greet families professionally both in person and on the phone
  • answer patient and family questions and seek clarification when necessary
  • employ empathy and active listening in difficult situations
  • support patient care quality initiatives
  • coordinate escalations and urgent issues for timely resolutions
  • communicate with site leadership to manage complex patient issues
  • manage patient flow and assist with self-registration
  • maintain accurate patient records and uphold HIPAA compliance
  • handle patient documents and correspondence appropriately
  • perform opening and closing duties including organizing and sanitizing
  • align with ongoing education regarding workflows and technology
  • execute other duties as assigned
