Job Requirements
- Successful completion of the eighth grade
- experience in food preparation and serving the public
- ability to operate a cash register
- ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with students, the public, and other employees
- ability to perform considerable physical activity
- ability to handle objects up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work day, evening, or weekend shifts
- adherence to basic safety precautions in work environment
- ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, or loud noises
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of the eighth grade
- experience in food preparation and serving the public
- one to three years customer service experience preferred
- one to three years food preparation experience preferred
- ability to operate a cash register
- ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with students, the public, and other employees
Job Duties
- Prepares foods such as grilled and hot-line foods
- cleans kitchen, dining room, trays, food carts, and other kitchen equipment as needed
- operates a cash register
- takes orders and serves customers
- may perform other duties as assigned
