Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience at a performing arts or events venue preferred
- Previous event management experience preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent decision making and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and maintain composure during challenging situations
- Ability to interact positively and sensitively with a wide variety of people in various settings
- A collaborative and team-focused work style
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Spanish is desired
- Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations preferred
- Passion for the mission of the New World Symphony

Job Duties
- Assist Director of Guest Services and or House Manager in the execution of activities needed to provide a positive and safe experience for patrons and guests at New World Symphony performances and New World Center rental events
- Assist in the preparation of briefings and sign-in sheets for event volunteers
- Prepare scanners for ticket takers
- Provide direction for volunteers
- Communicate concert and event information to patrons and guests and answer questions
- Assist Director of Guest Services and or House Manager in resolving any patron and guest issues or complaints
- Assist Director of Guest Services and or House Manager with any ADA requests or issues
- Take the lead for performances or events as assigned
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
