Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure

Job Duties
- Ensure that service is performed in a professional manner and to the style specified by the Director of Food & Beverage
- Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and other departments
- Adhere to company policies, vision, and departmental objectives
- Maintain good communication between kitchen, restaurant, and other departments regarding specials and dietary requirements
- Take responsibility for service in assigned restaurant areas during shifts
- Monitor and provide feedback on staff performance and set objectives
- Develop team members based on individual abilities
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area
- Establish and maintain positive guest relationships and handle complaints
- Be knowledgeable about every dish and provide explanations
- Act as a brand ambassador and uphold group values
- Ensure guest wishes are met and staff address guests properly
- Welcome, seat, and take food orders from guests
- Attend staff briefings and relay feedback to management
- Collect and use guest feedback to improve service
- Contribute to risk assessments and monitor health and safety compliance
- Operate safe practices and act as a role model for safety
- Adhere to the hotel’s fire and safety procedures
- Support colleagues during peak times
- Perform other duties as requested
- Report punctually and maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
