Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality or similar field
- ability to work an average of 20 hours per week with flexibility for 10 to 40 hours
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- reliable transportation
- availability starting February through at least April with potential extension through summer
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality or a related field
- experience in event planning or coordination preferred
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to work independently and with a team
- flexibility to work varying hours depending on event schedules
Job Duties
- Facilitating community events independently
- supervising staff members
- preparing required materials
- completing projects as directed by the Event Supervisors
- working in partnership with other departments to ensure all parties involved in an event are working towards the same goal
