Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and children’s events
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder
  • ability to handle job stress and interact positively with guests and co-workers
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork
  • adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
  • create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards, set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
