Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in event coordination or athletic facility operations preferred
  • ability to work approximately 17 hours per week with variable schedule
  • ability to work hybrid schedule of one to two days on campus
  • pass background check including criminal and sexual misconduct screening
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • physical ability to supervise setup and takedown of event equipment
  • adherence to safety and ADA compliance standards

Job Duties

  • Plan, arrange, and coordinate logistics for athletic events
  • oversee operational details such as scheduling, facilities preparation, event setup, security, crowd management, ticketing, concessions, and compliance with athletic regulations
  • coordinate with athletic staff, officials, visiting teams, and campus departments
  • ensure compliance with safety standards, emergency procedures, and ADA accessibility requirements
  • troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues during events
  • supervise setup and takedown of equipment, seating, and signage
  • monitor facility conditions before, during, and after events
  • assist with event promotion, ticket sales, and sponsorship coordination
  • perform other duties as assigned
