Job Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Two years of experience in athletic event operations, facilities coordination, hospitality, or related public contact work
- Experience setting up and managing athletic contests, tournaments, or large public events preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of athletic facility operations and event safety procedures such as crowd control
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding operational needs
- Detail-oriented approach to resolving logistical challenges
- Ability to work well with diverse populations
Job Qualifications

- Experience setting up and managing athletic contests, tournaments, or large public events preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required by athletic event schedules

- Knowledge of athletic facility operations, event safety procedures, and crowd control
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Plan, arrange, and coordinate logistics for athletic events, including home games, tournaments, and special athletic functions
- Oversee operational details such as scheduling, facilities preparation, event setup, security, crowd management, ticketing, concessions, and compliance with athletic regulations
- Coordinate with athletic staff, officials, visiting teams, and campus departments to ensure smooth event execution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, emergency procedures, and ADA accessibility requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues during events to maintain a safe and positive experience for athletes, officials, and spectators
- Supervise setup and takedown of equipment, seating, and signage for athletic contests and related activities
- Monitor facility conditions before, during, and after events
- coordinate maintenance and custodial support as needed
- Assist with event promotion, ticket sales, and sponsorship coordination
- Perform other duties as assigned
