Job Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate
- Understanding of audio/visual equipment used to support events and multimedia applications
- Knowledge of audio/visual hardware configuration, conference A/V set-up, and streaming platforms
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse audiences including faculty, staff, alumni, donors, students, and community members
- Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to safely and independently move items up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Assist the Audio Visual Manager by having excellent working knowledge of all A/V systems in Van Metre Hall event venues including setup and support of live streaming platforms
- Respond to and troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support during events when required
- Verify all equipment requests for events are set up exactly as described on the set-up report including tables, chairs, and audiovisual equipment per reservation requests
- Maintain order in storerooms and ensure aisles and mechanical equipment areas are clear of equipment
- Assist the Event Manager with program needs while enforcing user responsibilities of Mason Square Arlington
- Identify maintenance discrepancies and/or damages within event spaces and report them to the Event Manager
