Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to remain standing for long periods
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
  • experience with customer interaction in a retail environment
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • comply with federal, state, and local legal employment requirements
  • willingness to engage in interactive process for reasonable accommodations if needed

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform party activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans for events
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping and dusting
