Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to remain standing for long periods
ability to move throughout the store
capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
experience with customer interaction in a retail environment
ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
comply with federal, state, and local legal employment requirements
willingness to engage in interactive process for reasonable accommodations if needed

experience working with children and children’s events

Job Duties

Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform party activities such as face painting
facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
communicate events with clients and store team members
complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
adjust event plans based on client feedback
create backup or emergency plans for events
ensure client satisfaction
uphold company cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning before and after events
help customers shop and locate products
provide fast and friendly checkout experience
engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
support shrink and safety programs
adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping and dusting
