Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • retail or customer service experience required
  • ability to engage with clients and customers of all ages
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and perform job duties such as lifting and bending
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • adherence to company policies and safety standards
  • willingness to participate in store operational tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced in event coordination and managing children’s events
  • excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
  • retail and customer service experience
  • energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
  • experience working with children

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans and events based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold company’s cleanliness and safety standards
  • help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with others
  • cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
