  • Retail and/or customer service experience required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with equipment
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude
  • Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Ability to adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience planning and coordinating events, especially children’s events
  • Excellent people skills and customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • Ability to engage with a wide age range of participants
  • Organizational and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in retail or customer service
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple priorities
  • Basic computer skills for emails and administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with participants of all ages creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft project completion and perform party activities
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • Create emergency plans as needed
  • Ensure client satisfaction during events
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • Assist with Omni channel operations including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in merchandising, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and store presentation
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
